Ads and Premium
"I paid, but the ads are still there" is a common question — here is how it actually works.
There are two kinds of ads
The ads you see while using the app come from two different places, and Premium removes only one of them. That distinction is easy to miss, and it is the usual source of confusion.
Ads shown by the app
Removed by Premium
These appear around a download or when switching screens. They cover the cost of offering the app for free, and they stop once you buy Premium.
Ads on the page you are viewing
Not removed by Premium
These are part of the web page you opened in the app's browser. They are served by whoever runs that page and have nothing to do with your purchase. The app does include ad blocking, which works for everyone regardless of purchase, but it cannot catch everything.
What Premium gives you
- The app stops showing its own ads (all apps)
- iDig — preview and download of numbered and deep-linked images, PDF export of selected images, ZIP compression, and combining several images into one
- iCap — trimming a saved video, and picking a different thumbnail
- ConcatImg — PDF export of selected images
- For the remaining apps, Premium simply removes the ads
There is no limit on how much you can save. You can keep using the free version without watching a counter (a daily limit used to apply to free users, but it has been removed).
Pricing and available plans differ per app. Only iCap and iDig offer a monthly plan; the others are one-time purchases. Please check the current price on each app's purchase screen.
If Premium does not come back after buying
Please try these in order.
- Quit the app completely and start it again
- Tap Restore Purchases on the purchase screen
- If that does not work, simply buy it again from the purchase screen
The third step feels wrong, but if you already bought it with the same Apple ID, Apple will not charge you a second time. You will see "already purchased" and Premium will be restored. This has resolved cases where Restore Purchases did not. If you are somehow charged twice, I will refund you in full — just get in touch.
Please note that I cannot enable Premium for an individual user from my side. Purchases are verified only from the receipt stored on your device; I keep no per-user purchase data on a server.
Cancelling
To cancel a monthly plan, open the iPhone Settings app, tap your name at the top, then Subscriptions. Deleting the app does not cancel the subscription. One-time purchases never renew, so there is nothing to cancel.
Frequently asked
Does Premium also remove ads on the pages I browse?
No. Premium removes only the ads the app itself shows. Ads inside a web page you open in the app's browser belong to that page's owner and are unrelated to Premium.
"Restore Purchases" does not bring my Premium back.
Please try making the purchase again from the purchase screen. If you already bought it with the same Apple ID, Apple will not charge you again — it simply restores the purchased state. If that still does not work, please contact me.
What is the difference between the one-time and monthly plans?
The features are identical. The one-time purchase keeps working after a single payment, with no auto-renewal. The monthly plan is an auto-renewing subscription you can cancel at any time from your Apple ID settings. Only iCap and iDig offer a monthly plan.
Can you enable Premium on my account from your side?
I can't. Purchases are verified only from the receipt stored on your device — I don't keep any per-user purchase data on a server. Please try the steps above instead.
Anything not covered here — please contact me. For purchase questions, mentioning the app name and roughly when you bought it makes it much quicker to look into.
